Opening in Flinders Lane on February 4th, W Melbourne takes its design cues from the streets, drawing the vibrancy of Melbourne’s laneway culture inside its 294 bold rooms and suites. The luxury boutique hotel features four restaurants; Japanese diner Warabi, Lollo – under the culinary creative direction of Adam D’Sylva, bar Curious, and café-come-bar Culprit – an ideal spot to people-watch over a latte or a spritz!

THE CHATEAU DENMARK, LONDON

Located in London (rather than in the country of Denmark), this unique hotel draws on the artistic history and creative expression of its location on Denmark St, which is regarded as the birthplace of the British music scene. Once home to the Sex Pistols and where the Rolling Stones recorded their first album, Denmark St has played host to Hendrix, Clapton, Dylan, Bowie and Ziggy Stardust. Bringing a reimagined playful kind of rebellion to London, Chateau Denmark’s 55 rooms and apartments are artistically designed, beautifully crafted, and will evoke a spirited sense of escapism. KISAWA SANCTUARY, MOZAMBIQUE

Kisawa Sanctuary is a completely immersive experience that celebrates local culture and is committed to the environmental conservation of Benguerra Island, Mozambique. The resort offers just 12 one, two and three bedroom bungalows, positioned within a 300 hectare stretch of forest, beach and sand dunes. Each bungalow has its own private beach, an open-air deck, an infinity pool, an outdoor day area and kitchen. There are seven culinary venues and a stand-alone spa that specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic offerings to achieve wellbeing through a unity of mind, body and spirit.
