Top Travel Tip: Plan your days and activities prior to leaving on your trip and pre book your accommodation ahead of time. Being flexible can waste too much time working out what you will do each day while travelling. If you are going to a place that is extremely popular book a private tour with an early start and get ahead of the crowds. If time allows give yourself an extra day just to wander, sit by the pool or shop. Always try and give back to the community in places that you visit.
Top Travel Wellness Tip: On arrival go for a long walk and get your bearings, book a massage for later in the day, drink plenty of water and try and get an early night and adjust to the time zone
Most Memorable Travel Experience: Sighting the gorillas in Uganda, sailing into Venice on a cruise ship, staying at Rambagh, Palace Jaipur India, arriving into the Vail Village at dusk – it’s like Christmas every time.
Where to next? Uganda to visit my son and his wife and my grandchildren and then I will go anywhere… I just love to travel
Motto: Take only memories, leave only footprints – Chief Seattle, leader of the Duwamish native American people.
Favourite Destinations: In Australia – Kakadu // International – Too many fabulous destinations to choose from.

Favourite Family Holiday destination: African safari in Kenya and Tanzania. Skiing in Jackson Hole.
Favourite Activity: Kayaking in the Highlands of Scotland, seeing the Northern Lights from horse drawn carriage, hot air ballooning over the Serengeti.
Favourite Beach Spa Holiday: One and Only Maldives, Four Seasons Bora Bora Tahiti
Top Travel Tip: Book a tailor-made experience that is designed especially for you! Whether you are traveling alone or with family, booking a private tour allows you an opportunity to gain access to areas that are unobtainable if booked online. Giving back to communities that you visit is always high on my agenda.
Top Travel Wellness Tip: Spoil yourself and book a spa or massage treatment on arrival to help overcome jet lag. When travelling home always try to enjoy a healthy and hearty breakfast prior to getting on a flight.
Most Memorable Travel Experience: Climbing Huayna Picchu in South America. Hiring a private gulet and sailing the dalmatian coastline with my family, memories that we will share for a lifetime.
Where to next? Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia and when the borders further open ANYWHERE! I will be ready with my bags packed.
Motto: “Wherever you go, go with all your heart” Confucius
Favourite Destinations: In Australia – For fun you can’t go past Sydney, for nature there is nothing like Kakadu National Park // International – How does one choose?! New York and Italy would be top of my list.
Favourite Day Tour Experience: Two of my favourites were exploring Havana, Cuba in an old Chevy convertible and walking through the Medina and souks of Morocco.
Favourite Family Holiday destination: Italy, there is something for everyone here, culture, history, beaches, mountains, lakes, amazing food, wine, people and the list goes on……
Favourite Activity: Eating! Travel is all about immersing yourself in the culture of a destination, including its food!
Favourite Beach Spa Holiday: Kamalaya Koh Samui is on my wish list!
Top Travel Tip: Research your restaurants and book one in each destination before you go. There are seriously some amazing restaurants on this earth, make sure you include a fine dining one, one the locals frequent, a casual one and one that is the “in” new place in town! Always book at least one private tour. These experiences are priceless, the knowledge you gain with a local guide is beyond anything you will find online. Having them to yourself allows flexibility for you to explore what interests you and you can ask as many questions as you like!!
Top Travel Wellness Tip: Always allow yourself a day of relaxation especially towards the end of your trip so you don’t come home needing a holiday! Whether this is ending the trip in a beach destination, spending the day reading a book, or booking in a day of spa treatments, you will thank yourself when you arrive home refreshed.
Most Memorable Travel Experience: Game drives whilst on safari in Africa. The thrill of the chase to find the BIG 5 is exhilarating, but when you do spot one and sit and watch them in their natural habitat, that is beyond words.
Where to next? My list is endless!
Motto: “To travel is to live” – Hans Christian Andersen
Favourite Destinations: In Australia – Far North Queensland // International – if I have to pick I would say Italy.

Favourite Beach Spa Holiday: Lizard Island
Top Travel Tip: In cities where I want to see it all but might have limited time, I always make a list of the absolute must do / cannot miss attractions prior to my arrival and have excursions scheduled. For some of those popular attractions a tour that gives you priority entry is great, and where budget allows a private tour is fantastic. I always research my restaurants before I go and have reservations in place for at least one or two on my list.
Top Travel Wellness Tip: Don’t leave planning and packing until the last minute and avoid high stress levels. Pack lightly. Drinking plenty of water and eating smaller meals en route may minimise jet lag. I always have a facial hydrating mist in my handbag which I use throughout the flight. Sometimes jet lag is unavoidable so if possible, I don’t plan any of my ‘must do activities’ for the first day.

Most Memorable Travel Experience: Sunset over the Atacama Desert, tuna fishing in Mozambique, exploring the caves of Goreme Turkey
Top Travel tip: Private tailor-made experiences especially when travelling with the family often allow access to restricted areas, maximises time and allows guides to bring the activity alive. For example, flying kites on the Great Wall of China with my boys helped bring this excursion to life, and underground access to the Colosseum in Rome gives you the perspective of the gladiators looking up at the stadium.

Top Travel Wellness Tip: Get into shape before your trip. When travelling, you walk more, and we Australians almost always end up with Jet lag.

You may want total relaxation and spa all day or a wellness holiday to focus on a specific health aspect such as healing or exercise.
